Synapse Lower Intercooler Pipe Kit - EVO 8/9

Product Description

Synapse Engineering's design approach to the Evo LICP is to eliminate unnecessary flow restrictions at the turbocharger outlet. The Synapse LICP retains the OEM turbo discharge pipe and maintains the OEM boost-only source fitting to connect to the wastegate for a much more stable boost control source.

Competing designs require elimination of this crucial component requiring the use of vacuum for wastegate and boost control. This leads to potential variances in overall system performance. The OEM wastegate's diaphragm is not designed to take vacuum (negative pressure) and can lead to diaphragm failure and a system vacuum leak that will be difficult to troubleshoot.

Fits any EVO 8/9 regardless of battery size. Does not include a synchronic BOV/DV.

TECH TIP: This pipe is also known as the hot pipe. Direct bolt on, includes all hardware for an easy installation.
