Removing the factory heat shield or running an after market tubular exhaust manifold on your Evo 8 or 9 will likely result in cam angle sensor failure due to additional heat exposure, unless of course you do something to prevent it. This 304SS heat shield will protect your sensor and wiring from the additional heat and ultimately save you money!
