When replacing your brake pads it is wise to replace the brake shims at the
same time.
Shims go between the pad and the caliper to help eliminate squeal
(brake squeal is caused by the pad vibrating on the caliper). The shims
help stop or absorb the vibration.
These are the same brake shims that Mitsubishi put on your EVO from the
factory.
TECH TIP: Price includes a set of 4 shims - enough to completely
replace ALL the brake shims on the rear of your EVO.
