Synapse Upper Intercooler Pipe Kit - EVO X / Lancer Ralliart 2.0T

Product Description

The Synapse UICP retains the OEM turbo discharge pipe and maintains the OEM boost-only source fitting to connect to the wastegate for a much more stable boost control source. Competing designs require elimination of this crucial component requiring the use of vacuum for wastegate and boost control. This leads to potential variances in overall system performance. The OEM wastegate's diaphragm is not designed to take vacuum (negative pressure) and can lead to diaphragm failure and a system vacuum leak that will be difficult to troubleshoot.
