Exedy Stage 5 Triple Metallic Clutch Kit Standard Duty - EVO 8/9

Product Description

For high-powered applications, EXEDY offers twin and triple Multi-Plate Clutches. These are designed for high power street action as well as drag, road and rally racing. The twin plate clutches are rated for approximately 500ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel. The triple plate clutches are rated for up to and over 800ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel. Twins come with both spring damper discs of solid discs depending on application. Triple are all solid discs and not recommended for street use.

All of EXEDY's multi-plate clutches come with a lightweight, chromoly steel flywheel and the famous purple anodized forged aluminum clutch cover. Depending on the application, they have both strap drive and lug drive models. All have T5001 cerametallic friction materials for extreme heat resistance.

Exedy’s most advanced clutch kit, the Stage 5 Clutch Kit features triple-plate clutch disc made in either cerametallic or carbon fiber. The Exedy Stage 5 Clutch Kit comes in 2 types: cerametallic or carbon fiber. The cerametallic clutch version includes a heavy-duty triple-plate 6-puck cerametallic clutch disc.
